Peter Barnes is the author of Who Owns The Sky? Our Common Assets and the Future of Capitalism (Island Press, 2001) and Capitalism 3.0: Fixing Our Economy’s Fatal Flaws (Berrett-Koehler, forthcoming this year). He co-founded Working Assets, the credit card and telephone company that devotes a portion of its sales to progressive causes, and several other socially responsible businesses. He was a reporter for Newsweek and The New Republic, and a director of Greenpeace International.
