In an interview with C.J. Polychroniou, PERI’s Robert Pollin discusses the pros and cons of the Inflation Reduction Act as it relates to addressing climate change. He says “The Inflation Reduction Act is the most significant piece of climate legislation ever enacted by the U.S. government. It is also, in itself, not close to sufficient, to move the U.S., much less the global economy, onto a viable climate stabilization path.
