John Miller argues that if Congress fails to renew the Affordable Care Act (ACA) enhanced benefits, millions will be unable to access the health care they need.
“Extending the enhanced ACA subsidies for two years would cost the federal government $60 billion. That’s far less than the $116.6 billion tax cut that will go to the richest 1% (with incomes of $916,900 or more) in 2026, as part of Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill, which Congress approved over the summer. And the House passed a $900 billion defense policy bill just yesterday.”
