In an interview with C.J. Polychroniou, PERI’s Gerald Epstein discusses the launch of “Game Changers: Economic Policies for a Working America.” The Game Changers project brings together leading economists and policy experts from across the country to develop bold, practical policies that address the economic challenges facing working families.

Together, the proposals are organized around three core principles:

• Investing in each other by strengthening the public investments and institutions that expand opportunity.

• Securing our future by helping families build greater economic security and resilience and protecting the planet in the face of climate change.

• Righting the rules by ensuring markets work for the public interest, reward work, and promote broadly shared prosperity.
