An Inclusive Worldview: Amartya Sen's Memoir

PERI’s Jayati Ghosh reviews nobel prize winning economist Amartya Sen’s new book, “Home in the World: A Memoir.” In her article, Ghosh notes that “Sen’s contributions to economics, social science more generally, and philosophy are so profound and wide-ranging that they defy easy categorisation.“ She goes on to describe how his memoir “traces the experiences, encounters, and relationships that determined his conceptual concerns and intellectual evolution.”
