Tom Walter

Tom Walter is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Economics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and works with Professor James K. Boyce within PERI. Tom’s primary research interests include urban economics, political economy, and urban history. His current projects examine the historical origins of the Interstate Highway System and its impacts on neighborhood conditions.
