Moira Birss

Birss is an independent researcher and consultant providing visionary strategic advising and public policy design for the just transition. Birss is a Senior Fellow at the Climate and Community Institute, where she leads the think tank’s home insurance work and contributes to other policy research about the role of financial systems in climate justice (or injustice). Her writing has appeared in Dissent, Jacobin, Stanford Social Innovation Review, NACLA Report on the Americas, and more.
