Izaura Solipa

Izaura Solipa is a Ph.D student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She works with Professor Gerald Epstein on topics of international finance, central banking, and other regulatory frameworks of the U.S. banking system. Her research focuses on banking, power, and the political economy of finance, entailing a deeper understanding of power structures and dynamics within financial systems, in a multidisciplinary setting that examines both banking regulations and their effects, as well as the power and elites ruling the financial system.
