sevier is an energy engineer and policy advocate with experience addressing interlocked issues of race, class, gender, and climate vulnerability through policy and investment at utility, state, and federal levels. They are a member of the progressive climate think tank, the Climate and Community Institute, and have served as a local commissioner overseeing community choice aggregation of clean energy resources and other municipal services for the City and County of San Francisco since 2024.
