Daniel Aldana Cohen

Aldana Cohen directs the Socio-Spatial Climate Collaborative at UC Berkeley. He’s also Founding Co-Director of the Climate and Community Institute. He works on the political economy of climate change, with a focus on housing. He’s the co-author of A Planet to Win: Why We Need a Green New Deal. His scholarly research and writing have appeared in Nature, Environmental Politics, Public Culture, Scientific Data, and his public writing in The New York Times, The Guardian, Time, The Nation, and elsewhere.
