Share
Anwar Shaikh is the University in Exile Professor Emeritus of Economics at The New School for Social Research. Shaikh has made major contributions to the development of classical political economy on a wide range of topics, including in his 2016 book Capitalism: Competition, Conflict, Crises. One reviewer of this book wrote, “The scope and scale of Capitalism are such as to invite comparison with Marx’s Capital itself.”
This lecture series is presented by PERI and the UMass Amherst Economics Department “History and Political Economy Workshop.”
