Lenore Palladino: Rapid Changes in Corporate Governance and Finance

Lenore Palladino is Associate Professor of Economics at UMass Amherst and author of Good Company: Economic Policy After Shareholder Primacy. She testified before Congress on the impacts of shareholder primacy stock buybacks in 2019 and 2022. She has written about financial transaction taxes, employee ownership, the macroeconomic effect of investing in the care economy, and the rise of fintech. She holds a PhD from the New School University in economics and a JD from Fordham Law School.
