Austerity vs. Green Growth in Puerto Rico

PERI Co-Director Robert Pollin delivered two lectures in Puerto Rico that offered a green growth alternative to the island’s prevailing austerity policies. During the lectures, Pollin presented the findings of his recent paper “Austerity vs. Green Growth in Puerto Rico” which he co-authored with Amanda Page-Hoongrajok and PERI’s Shouvik Chakraborty.

Pollin’s first lecture was at the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez on August 30. His second lecture was at a conference for the Puerto Rico Association of Economists on August 31.
