Professor Prabhat Patnaik: The Crisis of Neo-Liberalism and Its Sequel

Prabhat Patnaik is one of the most widely respected scholars of political economy and Marxist public intellectuals. He is Emeritus Professor at Jawaharlal Nehru University, India where he taught from 1974 to 2010. His books include Economics and Egalitarianism, Reenvisioning Socialism and, most recently, Beyond Liberalism. He was Vice-Chairman of the Kerala State Planning Board and is Editor of Social Scientist.
